Based in Vienna, Austria, Alexander supports the company's European & African customers in his role as Regional Sales Manager. He joined AJW Group in 2003 as an Account Manager responsible for the German-speaking markets. This role rapidly grew into servicing the African and Asian regions, and he was appointed to the role of Sales Team Leader before moving into his current role in 2016.
Alexander has gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise as the dynamic aviation market has evolved and has developed a thorough understanding of his customer’s needs through times of industry growth and turmoil.
His strengths lie in his ability to build strong, long-standing customer relationships through his adept and customer-focused communications, and he plays a crucial role as a liaison between AJW's support teams and its growing European & African customer base.

Business Development Manager - Europe
Andy MacKay joined AJW Group in 2023 as a Business Development Manager for the European region. He is passionate about customer support, care, and sales with a diverse background in the aviation industry and business development. Andy is responsible for nurturing relationships with key customers to harvest and maximise the opportunities arising from our placement in the region and to grow the reach of the business.
He served in the Royal Airforce for 9 years as a technician, followed by 20 years at BAE Systems in various roles including licensed Aircraft Engineer, Technical Representative, Key Account Manager in customer support, Head of Modifications, and Sales and Support Manager for blue chip customers. After a stint in the aviation software industry as a Director of Sales and Support in Europe and Singapore, Andy joined a wire harness MRO where he worked for 10 years as the Director of Sales and Support, delivering exponential revenue growth, growing the customer portfolio, and extending its global presence.
Andy is a dedicated family man and proud father to two. Alongside his family commitments, he has a passion for cooking, travel, live music, and occasionally indulges in a game of golf.

Beth Davies (née Hogg) is AJW Group’s Head of Tactical Buying & Expediting. Prior to her current role, Beth worked in MRO, strategic sourcing, and spares inventory management, managing one of AJW's most important clients.
Beth comes from the world of hospitality, so customer and supplier engagement has always been a central focus. She has a degree from the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and is working towards her CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Level 4 qualification.
Outside of work, Beth likes to spend time with her family and friends, and enjoys being active and outdoorsy.

Charlotte joined the Group in 2009 as Commercial Executive Assistant, before being promoted to Regional Commercial Manager where she coordinated component contract support for airlines across the globe. In her current role as Senior Commercial Manager, she develops tailor-made customer solutions for a wide range of contracted services, managing the entire tender process from RFP to contract implementation, and continues with contract management throughout the lifetime of the agreement. With an impressive career in aviation, she is skilled at finding the perfect solutions to meet our customers’ needs.

Clyde joined AJW Group as Chief Executive Officer of AJW Aviation in 2022, bringing a wealth of global knowledge gained during his lifelong career in logistics. In 2023 his position expanded to the role of CEO of both AJW Aviation and AJW Technique.
After completing his studies at university, he began his career in logistics, acquiring hands-on experience in all aspects of logistics, freight, and supply chain. This led him to his most recent role as CEO of EV Cargo, a supply chain solution and technology business. Now bringing his expertise to AJW, he shares the Group’s passion for driving digital transformation to ensure aviation efficiency. Clyde is no stranger to aviation, with his former company moving airfreight cargo on almost every air corridor around the world.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and is focused on aligning key strategic initiatives with financial planning to achieve business success and growth. Clyde believes that building collaborative teams, nurturing talent, and creating a positive culture are keys to success, not only within the Group but with its partners as well.
Before moving to West Sussex with his family, Clyde lived in Twickenham where he fulfilled his passion for rugby and followed his favourite team, the Harlequins. As a qualified rugby coach and former back row player, being within walking distance of Harlequin’s games at the Stoop and Twickenham Stadiums was a pleasure.
When not solving logistical issues and watching rugby, Clyde enjoys the countryside with his wife and sons.

As Head of PBH, David is responsible for the management of and service delivery to our contracted PBH & Pool Access customers and co-ordinates all operational support.
David joined AJW in 2007 after six years at British Airways and British Mediterranean Airways. His excellent customer service skills, together with supply chain and technical knowledge, always enable him to deliver a high level of support beyond customer expectations.

Evette has over 25 years of experience at AJW and has acquired extensive knowledge of all aspects of the business. Initially, she worked in Sales, transferring to the commercial department where she restructured and created AJW's successful commercial function.
In her current senior leadership role, Evette is the focal point for all commercial activities. She develops tailor-made customer solutions from a wide range of services (including cost-per-flight hour programmes). At the same time, her team manages the entire tender process from the Request for Proposal (RFP) to contract implementation. Evette ensures a dedicated commercial manager is assigned for ongoing contract management throughout this process.

With over 12 years of experience in aftermarket support, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Leigh’s focus on strategic growth and cross-team collaboration underpins her efforts to secure new business opportunities and maximise company profitability.
With a keen focus on problem-solving and decision-making, Leigh adeptly applies critical thinking and judgment, coupled with her proficient use of risk management tools to navigate challenges and drive innovative solutions. From negotiating contracts to cultivating strategic relationships her expertise supports our business success and reinforces her fundamental role in representing AJW Technique at exhibitor events.

Louis brings over 25 years of international operational and strategic expertise to his role as President of AJW Technique, AJW Group’s world-class MRO facility located in Montreal, Canada.
His career in aviation began at Bombardier, where he progressed from quality assurance to General Manager Operations. His ability to speak English, French, and Spanish has been instrumental in leading multidisciplinary teams and overseeing numerous site transfers across China, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Northern Ireland, Taiwan, and the United States.
Joining AJW Technique as Senior Vice President in September 2021, Louis guided the facility through its post-pandemic resurgence, demonstrating his leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence. His career includes significant contributions as MRO Workgroup President of Aéro Montréal, supporting Quebec's aerospace cluster to enhance cohesion, optimise competitiveness, and drive sustainable growth in the region.
Outside the professional sphere, Louis channels his mental stamina and rugged determination into competing on the Ironman triathlon circuit, exemplifying his dedication and endurance in all facets of life.

As Head of Strategic Sourcing Management at AJW, Matt is responsible for the delivery of procurement and strategic sourcing across the Group. With an impressive career in procurement and strategic sourcing spanning more than 20 years, he is passionate about driving advancements in procurement through process simplification, innovation, and technology.
Matt joined AJW from First Central Group where he held the role of Group Head of Procurement and Supplier Management. Before this, he spent many years working in Australia as a senior procurement specialist for the likes of American Express, The Commonwealth Bank, and Sydney Airport, where he built a reputation for being highly effective in the engagement and management of third-party relationships and collaborative business partnering, executing measurable value through cost rationalisation and risk management.
When he’s not at work, Matt enjoys coaching his son’s local football team and trail running.

Nick joined AJW Group in 2011 setting up AJW’s China operation and developing key strategic accounts across the region. Since 2018 Nick has focused on developing strategic customer relationships worldwide leveraging his extensive AJW customer network to build business relationships.
Now in the role of SVP Global Sales & Business Development, he also oversees our global Business Development Team introducing AJW products and services across our customer base. The business development team is a dynamic, multicultural, solution-driven team with customer experience in mind every step of the way. The team’s mission is to nurture relationships with key customers to harvest and maximise the opportunities arising from our global marketplace.

Describing herself as Spanish with a deep love for British culture, Noelia Hernandez moved back to the UK in September 2012 and joined AJW in August 2014. Her AJW career began in sales, but she was quickly given the opportunity to develop and support a new service within the company. Her role involved supporting several airlines to efficiently return numerous aircraft at the end of lease transitions, helping them meet lease conditions, and offering on-site support.
She later moved into a role as Material & Assets Management Executive, and now, as Strategic Asset Manager, leads AJWs partnership with Honeywell. Her role involves trading, strategic purchasing, lease management, reviewing technical data, commercial evaluations and decisions, and management of components to maximize the return on investment (teardown, owned, consigned, etc.).
Having graduated as a Laboratory Technician in Spain, Noelia moved to the UK to improve her English, but once starting her career at AJW never returned to science - she believes she is an engineer at heart!
In her spare time, Noelia loves to read and has a passion for all things food related. She loves sports, travelling, British TV shows, and deep conversations.

Paul is AJW Group’s Director of Procurement Strategic and Tactical Sourcing Management. He has overall responsibility for developing and executing AJW’s global procurement strategy, ensuring we have strong supplier relationships with partners that can effectively support the delivery of the company’s strategic objectives. Paul joined AJW in April 2021, bringing a wealth of experience from a career in aviation spanning more than 30 years. Previously, he held tactical and senior strategic procurement roles for airlines and a large MRO company, working within inventory strategy, supply chain management, and new business development.
Paul's industry experience is supported by a long-standing passion for aviation which started at an early age; his first steps into the industry being work experience during school holidays with a small airline. Paul went on to fulfil his dream of being a pilot by obtaining a pilot's license.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys travel, relaxing family holidays, and watching Formula 1.
Scott Symington

Scott is a senior aviation executive who joined AJW Group as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in 2023 bringing 30 years of experience across the leasing, airline, OEM, and MRO sectors and has achieved an Executive MBA with Distinction.
He is responsible for driving the strategic sales plan across the AJW portfolio business lines and works hand in hand with other members of the Executive team and key leaders across the organisation to develop and implement an integrated commercial strategy.
Prior to joining AJW, Scott led the commercial, sales and marketing functions of a Dublin based aircraft lessor. Having developed the commercial team and built the platform to manage an 80 aircraft portfolio, Scott is committed to AJW’s mission to transform aviation efficiency. Starting his aviation career straight from school as an apprentice aircraft fitter at BAE SYSTEMS, he made quick progress at the company, becoming a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer, and then transferring to Toulouse to join technical support before moving into commercial roles. After 20 years at BAE, he moved to Athens to initiate Europe’s biggest ever start-up airline, Olympic Air, where he negotiated multiple aircraft leases, PBH and support contracts as well as starting the third-party MRO business. After, he relocated back to Scotland to set up and implement the aircraft leasing support strategy for the company which is now Collins Aerospace.
Outside of work, Scott loves to travel and is a passionate supporter of his national rugby team, attending all home games at Murrayfield and he can also be found at Scotstoun supporting the Glasgow Warriors.

Director of Solutions for AJW, with over 21 years’ experience, Simon Joined AJW in 2001 starting his aviation career in logistics overseeing all daily routine courier shipments. He transitioned to operations management, implementing and running a remote warehouse of 50,000 sq. ft. He followed this with a 12-month term as an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shift manager working the full end-to-end AOG process, from quote through to procurement and all aspects of the operations cycle, from picking to logistics.
Simon returned to the logistics department managing the team for several years. After signing a major contract in 2015 he moved into contract management. As the key account manager for the Group’s largest customer, Simon handled all operational and commercial aspects of the contract including MRO, technical, logistics, operations, procurement, finance, and commercial. In 2020, he took full ownership of Contract Services, responsible for over 600 aircraft.
Simon enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, eating out, and weightlifting. He has a lifelong passion for combat sports with extensive training in judo, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Krav Maga, and boxing, and practises BJJ (Brazilian jiu-jitsu) alongside his daughter.

Paul is AJW Group’s Director of Procurement Strategic and Tactical Sourcing Management. He has overall responsibility for developing and executing AJW’s global procurement strategy, ensuring we have strong supplier relationships with partners that can effectively support the delivery of the company’s strategic objectives. Paul joined AJW in April 2021, bringing a wealth of experience from a career in aviation spanning more than 30 years. Previously, he held tactical and senior strategic procurement roles for airlines and a large MRO company, working within inventory strategy, supply chain management, and new business development.
Paul's industry experience is supported by a long-standing passion for aviation which started at an early age; his first steps into the industry being work experience during school holidays with a small airline. Paul went on to fulfil his dream of being a pilot by obtaining a pilot's license.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys travel, relaxing family holidays, and watching Formula 1.

Scott is a senior aviation executive who joined AJW Group as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in 2023 bringing 30 years of experience across the leasing, airline, OEM, and MRO sectors and has achieved an Executive MBA with Distinction.
He is responsible for driving the strategic sales plan across the AJW portfolio business lines and works hand in hand with other members of the Executive team and key leaders across the organisation to develop and implement an integrated commercial strategy.
Prior to joining AJW, Scott led the commercial, sales and marketing functions of a Dublin based aircraft lessor. Having developed the commercial team and built the platform to manage an 80 aircraft portfolio, Scott is committed to AJW’s mission to transform aviation efficiency. Starting his aviation career straight from school as an apprentice aircraft fitter at BAE SYSTEMS, he made quick progress at the company, becoming a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer, and then transferring to Toulouse to join technical support before moving into commercial roles. After 20 years at BAE, he moved to Athens to initiate Europe’s biggest ever start-up airline, Olympic Air, where he negotiated multiple aircraft leases, PBH and support contracts as well as starting the third-party MRO business. After, he relocated back to Scotland to set up and implement the aircraft leasing support strategy for the company which is now Collins Aerospace.
Outside of work, Scott loves to travel and is a passionate supporter of his national rugby team, attending all home games at Murrayfield and he can also be found at Scotstoun supporting the Glasgow Warriors.

Director of Solutions for AJW, with over 21 years’ experience, Simon Joined AJW in 2001 starting his aviation career in logistics overseeing all daily routine courier shipments. He transitioned to operations management, implementing and running a remote warehouse of 50,000 sq. ft. He followed this with a 12-month term as an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shift manager working the full end-to-end AOG process, from quote through to procurement and all aspects of the operations cycle, from picking to logistics.
Simon returned to the logistics department managing the team for several years. After signing a major contract in 2015 he moved into contract management. As the key account manager for the Group’s largest customer, Simon handled all operational and commercial aspects of the contract including MRO, technical, logistics, operations, procurement, finance, and commercial. In 2020, he took full ownership of Contract Services, responsible for over 600 aircraft.
Simon enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, eating out, and weightlifting. He has a lifelong passion for combat sports with extensive training in judo, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Krav Maga, and boxing, and practises BJJ (Brazilian jiu-jitsu) alongside his daughter.

Based in Vienna, Austria, Alexander supports the company's European & African customers in his role as Regional Sales Manager. He joined AJW Group in 2003 as an Account Manager responsible for the German-speaking markets. This role rapidly grew into servicing the African and Asian regions, and he was appointed to the role of Sales Team Leader before moving into his current role in 2016.
Alexander has gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise as the dynamic aviation market has evolved and has developed a thorough understanding of his customer’s needs through times of industry growth and turmoil.
His strengths lie in his ability to build strong, long-standing customer relationships through his adept and customer-focused communications, and he plays a crucial role as a liaison between AJW's support teams and its growing European & African customer base.

Andy MacKay joined AJW Group in 2023 as a Business Development Manager for the European region. He is passionate about customer support, care, and sales with a diverse background in the aviation industry and business development. Andy is responsible for nurturing relationships with key customers to harvest and maximise the opportunities arising from our placement in the region and to grow the reach of the business.
He served in the Royal Airforce for 9 years as a technician, followed by 20 years at BAE Systems in various roles including licensed Aircraft Engineer, Technical Representative, Key Account Manager in customer support, Head of Modifications, and Sales and Support Manager for blue chip customers. After a stint in the aviation software industry as a Director of Sales and Support in Europe and Singapore, Andy joined a wire harness MRO where he worked for 10 years as the Director of Sales and Support, delivering exponential revenue growth, growing the customer portfolio, and extending its global presence.
Andy is a dedicated family man and proud father to two. Alongside his family commitments, he has a passion for cooking, travel, live music, and occasionally indulges in a game of golf.

Beth Davies (née Hogg) is AJW Group’s Head of Tactical Buying & Expediting. Prior to her current role, Beth worked in MRO, strategic sourcing, and spares inventory management, managing one of AJW's most important clients.
Beth comes from the world of hospitality, so customer and supplier engagement has always been a central focus. She has a degree from the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and is working towards her CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Level 4 qualification.
Outside of work, Beth likes to spend time with her family and friends, and enjoys being active and outdoorsy.

Clyde joined AJW Group as Chief Executive Officer of AJW Aviation in 2022, bringing a wealth of global knowledge gained during his lifelong career in logistics. In 2023 his position expanded to the role of CEO of both AJW Aviation and AJW Technique.
After completing his studies at university, he began his career in logistics, acquiring hands-on experience in all aspects of logistics, freight, and supply chain. This led him to his most recent role as CEO of EV Cargo, a supply chain solution and technology business. Now bringing his expertise to AJW, he shares the Group’s passion for driving digital transformation to ensure aviation efficiency. Clyde is no stranger to aviation, with his former company moving airfreight cargo on almost every air corridor around the world.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and is focused on aligning key strategic initiatives with financial planning to achieve business success and growth. Clyde believes that building collaborative teams, nurturing talent, and creating a positive culture are keys to success, not only within the Group but with its partners as well.
Before moving to West Sussex with his family, Clyde lived in Twickenham where he fulfilled his passion for rugby and followed his favourite team, the Harlequins. As a qualified rugby coach and former back row player, being within walking distance of Harlequin’s games at the Stoop and Twickenham Stadiums was a pleasure.

Evette has over 25 years of experience at AJW and has acquired extensive knowledge of all aspects of the business. Initially, she worked in Sales, transferring to the commercial department where she restructured and created AJW's successful commercial function.
In her current senior leadership role, Evette is the focal point for all commercial activities. She develops tailor-made customer solutions from a wide range of services (including cost-per-flight hour programmes). At the same time, her team manages the entire tender process from the Request for Proposal (RFP) to contract implementation. Evette ensures a dedicated commercial manager is assigned for ongoing contract management throughout this process.

With a keen focus on problem-solving and decision-making, Leigh adeptly applies critical thinking and judgment, coupled with her proficient use of risk management tools to navigate challenges and drive innovative solutions. Louis brings over 25 years of international operational and strategic expertise to his role as President of AJW Technique, AJW Group’s world-class MRO facility located in Montreal, Canada.
His career in aviation began at Bombardier, where he progressed from quality assurance to General Manager Operations. His ability to speak English, French, and Spanish has been instrumental in leading multidisciplinary teams and overseeing numerous site transfers across China, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Northern Ireland, Taiwan, and the United States.
Joining AJW Technique as Senior Vice President in September 2021, Louis guided the facility through its post-pandemic resurgence, demonstrating his leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence. His career includes significant contributions as MRO Workgroup President of Aéro Montréal, supporting Quebec's aerospace cluster to enhance cohesion, optimise competitiveness, and drive sustainable growth in the region.

As Head of Strategic Sourcing Management at AJW, Matt is responsible for the delivery of procurement and strategic sourcing across the Group. With an impressive career in procurement and strategic sourcing spanning more than 20 years, he is passionate about driving advancements in procurement through process simplification, innovation, and technology.
Matt joined AJW from First Central Group where he held the role of Group Head of Procurement and Supplier Management. Before this, he spent many years working in Australia as a senior procurement specialist for the likes of American Express, The Commonwealth Bank, and Sydney Airport, where he built a reputation for being highly effective in the engagement and management of third-party relationships and collaborative business partnering, executing measurable value through cost rationalisation and risk management.
When he’s not at work, Matt enjoys coaching his son’s local football team and trail running.

Nick joined AJW Group in 2011 setting up AJW’s China operation and developing key strategic accounts across the region. Since 2018 Nick has focused on developing strategic customer relationships worldwide leveraging his extensive AJW customer network to build business relationships.
Now in the role of SVP Global Sales & Business Development, he also oversees our global Business Development Team introducing AJW products and services across our customer base. The business development team is a dynamic, multicultural, solution-driven team with customer experience in mind every step of the way. Describing herself as Spanish with a deep love for British culture, Noelia Hernandez moved back to the UK in September 2012 and joined AJW in August 2014. Her AJW career began in sales, but she was quickly given the opportunity to develop and support a new service within the company. Her role involved supporting several airlines to efficiently return numerous aircraft at the end of lease transitions, helping them meet lease conditions, and offering on-site support.
She later moved into a role as Material & Assets Management Executive, and now, as Strategic Asset Manager, leads AJWs partnership with Honeywell. Her role involves trading, strategic purchasing, lease management, reviewing technical data, commercial evaluations and decisions, and management of components to maximize the return on investment (teardown, owned, consigned, etc.).

His career includes significant contributions as MRO Workgroup President of Aéro Montréal, supporting Quebec's aerospace cluster to enhance cohesion, optimise competitiveness, and drive sustainable growth in the region.
Outside the professional sphere, Louis channels his mental stamina and rugged determination into competing on the Ironman triathlon circuit, exemplifying his dedication and endurance in all facets of life.

As Head of Strategic Sourcing Management at AJW, Matt is responsible for the delivery of procurement and strategic sourcing across the Group. With an impressive career in procurement and strategic sourcing spanning more than 20 years, he is passionate about driving advancements in procurement through process simplification, innovation, and technology.
Matt joined AJW from First Central Group where he held the role of Group Head of Procurement and Supplier Management. Before this, he spent many years working in Australia as a senior procurement specialist for the likes of American Express, The Commonwealth Bank, and Sydney Airport, where he built a reputation for being highly effective in the engagement and management of third-party relationships and collaborative business partnering, executing measurable value through cost rationalisation and risk management.
When he’s not at work, Matt enjoys coaching his son’s local football team and trail running.

Nick joined AJW Group in 2011 setting up AJW’s China operation and developing key strategic accounts across the region. Since 2018 Nick has focused on developing strategic customer relationships worldwide leveraging his extensive AJW customer network to build business relationships.
Now in the role of SVP Global Sales & Business Development, he also oversees our global Business Development Team introducing AJW products and services across our customer base. The business development team is a dynamic, multicultural, solution-driven team with customer experience in mind every step of the way. The team’s mission is to nurture relationships with key customers to harvest and maximise the opportunities arising from our global marketplace.
When not seeing to sales and business development, Nick enjoys spending his spare time outdoors, cycling, horseriding, sailing, and if there’s any time left, playing golf.

Describing herself as Spanish with a deep love for British culture, Noelia Hernandez moved back to the UK in September 2012 and joined AJW in August 2014. Her AJW career began in sales, but she was quickly given the opportunity to develop and support a new service within the company. Her role involved supporting several airlines to efficiently return numerous aircraft at the end of lease transitions, helping them meet lease conditions, and offering on-site support.
She later moved into a role as Material & Assets Management Executive, and now, as Strategic Asset Manager, leads AJWs partnership with Honeywell. Her role involves trading, strategic purchasing, lease management, reviewing technical data, commercial evaluations and decisions, and management of components to maximize the return on investment (teardown, owned, consigned, etc.).
Having graduated as a Laboratory Technician in Spain, Noelia moved to the UK to improve her English, but once starting her career at AJW never returned to science - she believes she is an engineer at heart!
In her spare time, Noelia loves to read and has a passion for all things food related. She loves sports, travelling, British TV shows, and deep conversations.

Paul is AJW Group’s Director of Procurement Strategic and Tactical Sourcing Management. He has overall responsibility for developing and executing AJW’s global procurement strategy, ensuring we have strong supplier relationships with partners that can effectively support the delivery of the company’s strategic objectives. Paul joined AJW in April 2021, bringing a wealth of experience from a career in aviation spanning more than 30 years. Previously, he held tactical and senior strategic procurement roles for airlines and a large MRO company, working within inventory strategy, supply chain management, and new business development.
Paul's industry experience is supported by a long-standing passion for aviation which started at an early age; his first steps into the industry being work experience during school holidays with a small airline. Paul went on to fulfil his dream of being a pilot by obtaining a pilot's license.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys travel, relaxing family holidays, and watching Formula 1.

Scott is a senior aviation executive who joined AJW Group as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in 2023 bringing 30 years of experience across the leasing, airline, OEM, and MRO sectors and has achieved an Executive MBA with Distinction.
He is responsible for driving the strategic sales plan across the AJW portfolio business lines and works hand in hand with other members of the Executive team and key leaders across the organisation to develop and implement an integrated commercial strategy.
Prior to joining AJW, Scott led the commercial, sales and marketing functions of a Dublin based aircraft lessor. Having developed the commercial team and built the platform to manage an 80 aircraft portfolio, Scott is committed to AJW’s mission to transform aviation efficiency. Starting his aviation career straight from school as an apprentice aircraft fitter at BAE SYSTEMS, he made quick progress at the company, becoming a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer, and then transferring to Toulouse to join technical support before moving into commercial roles. After 20 years at BAE, he moved to Athens to initiate Europe’s biggest ever start-up airline, Olympic Air, where he negotiated multiple aircraft leases, PBH and support contracts as well as starting the third-party MRO business. After, he relocated back to Scotland to set up and implement the aircraft leasing support strategy for the company which is now Collins Aerospace.
Outside of work, Scott loves to travel and is a passionate supporter of his national rugby team, attending all home games at Murrayfield and he can also be found at Scotstoun supporting the Glasgow Warriors.

Director of Solutions for AJW, with over 21 years’ experience, Simon Joined AJW in 2001 starting his aviation career in logistics overseeing all daily routine courier shipments. He transitioned to operations management, implementing and running a remote warehouse of 50,000 sq. ft. He followed this with a 12-month term as an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shift manager working the full end-to-end AOG process, from quote through to procurement and all aspects of the operations cycle, from picking to logistics.
Simon returned to the logistics department managing the team for several years. After signing a major contract in 2015 he moved into contract management. As the key account manager for the Group’s largest customer, Simon handled all operational and commercial aspects of the contract including MRO, technical, logistics, operations, procurement, finance, and commercial. In 2020, he took full ownership of Contract Services, responsible for over 600 aircraft.
Simon enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, eating out, and weightlifting. He has a lifelong passion for combat sports with extensive training in judo, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Krav Maga, and boxing, and practises BJJ (Brazilian jiu-jitsu) alongside his daughter.
