As Customer Service Executive – Parts, Irving works from AJW Group’s Mexico City support hub to nurture and grow our relationships with customers from across the Latin America region. Before joining AJW in 2024, he worked for Mas Cargo Airline in their Supply Chain team before progressing to his Inventory Specialist role.
Irving has a background in Aeronautical Engineering and holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, and Astronautics from the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City. He has been trained in the Lean Six Sigma principles, which aim to reduce operational inefficiency.
When not immersed in his passion for aviation, Irving stays active by playing American football and flag football.
Laura Salado
Senior Customer Service Executive – Repairs
As a Senior Customer Service Executive at AJW, Laura Salado’s primary role is to look after Repair Management Contracts. She expedites customer orders and queries and liaises with workshops. When not involved with customers directly, she works with her team to ensure their productivity and efficiency in servicing clients.
Joining AJW in 2012, Laura held various customer service positions starting as an MRO executive in the PBH team where she looked after a portfolio of contracted customers. From here, she moved into the Ad-Hoc team where she was responsible for the non-PBH customers and looked after the Repairs Management Customers and non-contracted customers.
Laura was promoted to Senior Customer Service Executive in 2018 where she took on more responsibility assisting with the running of the team and reporting duties.
Whilst living in Spain, Laura attained a Bachelor of Arts degree and subsequently moved into positions in administration and customer service roles, including airline reception, when moving to the UK.
When not working to ensure complete customer satisfaction, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, being by the seaside, and getting lost in a good book.

Based in the regional office in Mexico City, Wilmer is the Managing Director of AJW Latin America. He leads the company’s business development efforts across Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on expanding AJW’s presence, nurturing customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet the region’s unique demands. He oversees strategic growth initiatives, ensuring operational alignment with customer needs, and fostering collaborations that drive long-term success for the business and its partners.
Wilmer brings over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, with a career spanning key leadership roles across the region. Before joining the Group, he served as Maintenance Planning & Control Production Manager and Contracts Negotiator at Avianca, where he gained extensive expertise in operational planning, contract management, and customer engagement.
With a bachelor’s degree in business and a strong background in airline operations, Wilmer has built his career on collaboration, trust, and understanding. His deep knowledge of the aviation landscape in Latin America and his ability to navigate the region’s unique economic and operational challenges have been instrumental in driving success for both customers and AJW.
