Customer-owned material can be entirely consigned to AJW to be stored and managed at our UK facility where we will efficiently monitor all costs, transport and logistics on your behalf.
For such inventory we are able to provide tailored disposal plans by individual part number with a monthly tracking report advising you on the progress of the sale.
AJW is therefore able to optimise your inventory management and maximise your financial returns from this completely bespoke service.
AJW strategically offers stock on consignment to a number of MROs, repair facilities and engine shops. This ensures that parts are available to MROs for installation / consumption into an engine at any point in time and can comply with all demands. Consignment stock enables parts to be repaired as and when needed by the MRO. This saves on logistics costs and allows MROs complete flexibility with unit repair scheduling.
This mutually beneficial arrangement provides revenue for AJW (consignor) and the MRO (consignee) as they invoice AJW for repair of the units whilst we invoice them for the purchase of the parts. We are also able to place stock in different regions worldwide which can be provided to other customers if the MRO has surplus at any time. AJW works with customers to create an up-front pricing structure, or negotiable terms at point of usage can be agreed.
