From the beginning, AJW Technique has focused on collaborative decision making between the non-unionised and unionised members of our staff, allowing a positive, co-operative attitude to flourish in order to create a more functional working environment.
Primary emphasis is placed upon creating and sustaining a flexible team of people that understand the concept of continual personal development, the importance of building knowledge as a team, problem-solving with responsible initiatives, and continuous rotation within the workshop environment to keep production operating efficiently.
Each mechanic has Shop Certification Authority creating a further level of inspection if required, speeding up the maintenance process chain and instilling pride of workmanship in every job undertaken. Responsibility with accountability is an integral part of the new philosophy that has been built at AJW Technique.
AJW Technique's success is dependent on the contributions of each staff member and because of this, we believe in providing a work environment that is conducive to personal, professional and organisational growth.
Our 6S Philosophy has been developed with this in mind, and supports each employee in their daily activities. To learn more about this, download our 6S philosphy below.
A key part in our success as both a commercial enterprise and an employer, is the co-operative relationship we have with our workforce. The aviation sector employs 42,500 people throughout the greater Montreal area, across 215 companies. It is also responsible for 70% of Canada's spending on research and development which equates to around $1billion.
We are proud to be official partners with the highly regarded International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
