Bringing a wealth of experience to the role, he served as an accomplished CEO and Board of Directors member within the airline and aviation industry including, Cabo Verde Airlines, Icelandair Group - Loftleidir Icelandic, Arctica Finance, and Faradair Aerospace.
Erlendur graduated from the University of Iceland and subsequently Reykjavik University with an MBA, summa cum laude as well as Harvard Business School, and has a proven track record in leadership, business development, strategic planning, organisational change, international business, negotiations, and mergers and acquisitions.
When stepping away from the aviation industry, Erlendur enjoys spending time with his family, is an accomplished triathlete, and finds peace alongside the rivers of Iceland where he is a flyfishing instructor.
